Judge Vogt: did you pick beans around here when you were young? I picked at Tobaisson's in Cottage Grove. My sister and I put our buckets in the same bag. I carried the bags up to be weighed while my sister kept picking. We split the weight among our two tickets. We were the second best pickers in the field and our tallies were awesome. Our record in one day was 357 pounds EACH... 714 pounds of beans in total.
We also picked strawberries and I did some field work. My income as a 12 y.o. picking beans is on my cumulative earnings record.
